Stopped sharing location and entire text thread was deleted

I was deleting those annoying political spam texts, and received msg asking if I wanted to stop sharing location with participants. I had no knowledge that i was sharing it but tapped "yes" since it asked, only to find out that for some reason my whole text thread with my brother, including bunch of pictures, was deleted. Looked under deleted texts and nothing there. Is there a way to get back those texts and the pictures on that thread??
