Apple Watch calorie counting when asleep.

I do not wear my watch to sleep. My overnight resting calorie count has been constant for over a year, which makes sense since it has no record. But last night, it added 300 more calories burned --from nothing! which makes my keeping track of calories impossible. why did it do this? Can I stop it.

U miss the point I should’ve been more specific. For a year my Knight calories have run at about 350 per night seven hours of sleep it’s fine. I don’t care that it’s accurate or not but The night before last it gave me 500 cal per night with the watch off no input that was straight up Apple and weird
