Connecting a Mac from Thunderbolt 2 or HDMI port to an external USB-C

I am running a Macbook pro 15" mid 2015 on Monterey.

I want to connect an external display that has a USB-C (male) port.

How do I use the Thunderbolt 2 port or the HDMI port on my Mac for this?

Are there any Thunderbolt 2/HDMI (input) to USB C (output) converters on the market (the other way: USB C male to HDMI female/Thunderbolt 2 are easy to find).

Please advise.
