Apple Watch dings when sending Message on Mac Mini

*This just started yesterday, when I upgraded from the 14 Pro to the 16 Pro:

My Apple Watch is on the nightstand (locked, charging). My iPhone is on my desk, locked; I use Messages app on my Mac Mini to send/read texts.

When I send a message from the Mac Mini, I can hear my Apple Watch ding (and 2nd reminder ding). I set the Watch app Notifications > Messages > Mirror my iPhone.

How do I stop my Apple Watch from dinging? Like I said, this just started yesterday, after I upgraded.
