Various apps crashing when starting on my MacBook Pro (2016) running 12.7.6

Dear community,

I own a 2016 Macbook Pro currently running on MacOs 12.7.6. No updates are available.

A couple of weeks ago the system started to get really slow (like never before), and many apps are crashing / freezing.

The current apps I found are: All browsers (incluiding Safari), Java Console, WhatsApp desktop, EtreCheckPro, CleanMyMac, and others. They simple don´t open (icons keep bouncing or open a black window) - always have to force them to close.

Others work flawlessly: Numbers, Pages, Keynote, Calendar, etc.

In others users login: the same

In safe mode, all work fine

I´ve run the Apple diagnostics: no issues (code ADP000)

After a lot of research in this community with no similar cases, I installed EtreCheck Pro - only works in SafeMode - please see results bellow

What I´ve tryed with no luck:

Moving non-apple LaunchAgents .plist files
Moving non-apple LaunchDeamons .plist files
Moving a couple of third party .kext files
Moving all non-apple .plist files from Preferences and User Preferences folder

Have no other moves left, anyone can assist me, please?

You’ve done already a lot of good amount of troubleshooting steps. I would recommend the following:

A. Consider resetting the NVRAM

Restart your MacBook and immediately hold down Command + Option + P + R until you hear the startup chime twice.

B. Reset the SMC

Shut down your MacBook. Press and hold Shift + Control + Option + Power Button for 10 seconds, then release.

Turn on your MacBook

C. Monitor System Performance

Use the Activity Monitor to check for any processes that might be consuming excessive system resources (CPU or memory)

If you notice any problematic processes, consider uninstalling or updating the associated applications.

Unfortunately I´m still have the same problem.

Two apps are back working, the majority not.

Tried a couple of times both NVRAM and SMC reset.

There are no stand-out process over working in Activity Monitor

Any other suggestion?

I´m startled.

Decided to wipe clean and start over.

After a clean new MacOs, the same problem persists!

Crazy.

Safari, Chess, AppStore, not opening and/or crashing upon opening. All the other apps are ok.

Dear r4lf,

Resetting NVRAM worked like a charm for a couple of apps!

I´ll try it again and if necessary, do the SMC reset.

you need to get rid of CleanMyMac and Avira completely, and NEVER re-install them.

you also need to remove Transmission Bit torrent app.

then re-run the Etrecheck report in normal mode if you can

Already did.

I did a bit more: clean Mac Os reinstall - and whats crazy is that even after it, I still have problems with the apps.

it may provide a clearer understanding of what is happening.
