Adding a Digital Clipper Card to Apple Wallet

Recently I found myself unable to add a Digital (not Physical) Clipper Card to my Apple Wallet after removing it because it was malfunctioning. After calling Clipper, it became apparent that I had to go all the way to the screen that asked how much money I wanted to add to a new Clipper Card before pressing Back three times to get to the screen that said “Re-add Old Cards.” Does anyone know if adding new digital cards is just only possible through the Apple Wallet and not through the Clipper App?
