How do I fix overly contrasted, bright, and saturated photos in Camera Roll on iPhone?

I will take a photo that looks good, but when i view it in camera roll it’s extremely contrasted, bright, and saturated. When I hold down and it plays the live photo, it looks correct like how it looked before I took it. How do I turn this off? I’m stuck screenshotting from live photos to get my pictures to look decent.
