How do I fix DirecTV stream app not recognizing password on Apple TV?

When I try to open directv stream app it goes to direct tv not stream. It does not recognize my password and I cannot get stream on Apple TV. But it works fine on Samsung tv. The upgrade of Apple TV prevents the app going to stream
