How to change Apple ID on an Apple Watch l

Hello, I need to know how to change the Apple ID on my Apple Watch. My watch was bought for me around two years ago for Christmas, and my father set it up for me using his Hotmail account. He had since forgotten his hotmail accounts password, and gotten a new phone. On his new phone, the watch is not under paired in the watch app, and there is virtually no way to go into his Apple ID/hotmail account to kick the watch off.

Since I can’t unpair or kick the watch off from the hotmail/Apple ID/new phone (as it’s not connected) I don’t see a way to change the Apple ID. This is a problem because I cannot update the watch, download apps, or do anything else without Apple ID permission. I’m stuck here, any advice would be appreciated.
