Urgent Feature Request for Enhanced Child Safety in Screen Time Settings

Dear Apple Team,

I hope you are doing well. As a concerned parent, I request two critical features in Screen Time settings to enhance child safety and parental control:

1. Real-Time Device Usage Monitoring & Control

• A live status indicator showing if the child is actively using their device.

• An option for parents to instantly pause or stop device usage remotely.

• Full power control over the child’s device for better management.

2. Disable Device Usage While Charging

• A toggle option to prevent device usage while charging, ensuring child safety.

• This should be integrated into Screen Time settings and remotely controlled by parents.

• Must be supported on all devices, including older models like iPad Air 1.

In today’s fast-paced world, working parents cannot always supervise their children directly. These features would provide much-needed peace of mind and ensure child safety.
