How to stop FaceTime lowering volume while watching videos

Is there a way to stop FaceTime from lowering my system volume? Whenever I am on a FaceTime call with someone and I try to play a video or music, the sound is significantly lower (even with paired bluetooth headphones and the other person on mute). Even unenabling audio ducking is not helping... Does anybody have a solution for this?

Low Music Sound When Using Facetime I have noticed that when I talk with someone on Facetime from my MacBook, and try to listen to any music or any video on YouTube, the sound is very low for the music. Any workaround? I tired Skype it works fine, normal audio for the music when on call.

Volume lowers Automatically on FaceTime I have an issue that only occurs during a FaceTime call where my volume will lower itself when audio is played. For example, if I watch a video during the call it would lower them volume significantly and when turned back up to the original volume it lowers itself again. Another occurrence that it also does the same is if the person on the other end of the call starts to share their screen the volume goes down. I’ve looked up a few things about it such as the “Reduced loud sounds” settings (which is off) but had no luck. Maybe I’m missing something that someone could help me find the answer too or point me in the right direction.
