Always on does not work when I switch it on for workouts, I have to switch it on and off several times before it actually stays on. This has just started recently (in past two weeks). Anyone else having this issue.

Did you try to force restart your watch by pressing and holding the Digital Crown and the Side button together for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again?
If this does not work, unpairing the watch would be the next step:

I don't use "Always On" on my Ultra 2, "Wake on Wrist Raise" works perfectly also during workouts.
