AppleTV+ flashing light while streaming on LG TV

Hi all, while streaming Apple TV+ directly on my device and not through any external source, the screen will flash with bright pink several times per second. This doesn’t occur with any other apps or on the Home Screen. I’ve reset the app and then completely deleted and reinstalled. I’ve removed any motion or noise reduction or cinema settings on the TV itself, but the issue persists. I don’t seem to be able to link a photo or video here but would love it anyone could assist. LG support has stated it’s an app issue and to contact Apple.
