Rename a pin in Maps on the iPhone

Looking at my Maps, with a pin dropped and you have it selected, look at the small menu to the right of the pinned title. If you tap on the plus mark, it will turn into a checkmark saying In Library, and shortly thereafter, it will bring up a dialog box to Name this location, and it allows you to give it a name.
