So let’s say you want to buy something like in game currency or anything in the App Store, when u press buy, it goes to the id payment method but you want to use Apple Pay. You can’t add the cards you use, to the id payment method because it isn’t compatible. What do I do?

To purchase apps, subscriptions, iTunes Store etc. Apple uses the payment method(s) associated with your Apple Account (formerly known as Apple ID).
Cards are generally compatible with the Apple Stores for the country your Apple Account and residence are associated with. Trying to use a card issued in one country with a different physical address, Apple Stores, region settings may result in your bank failing to verify the payment method, device or account owner.
Then you won’t be able to purchase items until you have a payment method compatible with the Apple Store you’re logged into.
What country are you currently in, what country are the banks in, what region is your iPhone set for?
I would love to but as stated in the question, the cards do not work on the Apple ID
And I’m not connected to any of the copatable card providers
my iPhone is focusing on id payment method instead of apple pay
