Enhancing legibility of 'Handmade Copper Wire Font' in FCPX for 2.5 Seconds of Video

Text was created by wrapping copper wiring around nails tacked onto a plank of wood. There is motion of birds behind the sign. If the video is stopped, it can be read clearly, but client would like to read it easier without stopping the video. Approx 2.5 secs of 24fps video should be enhanced.

Is this a ridiculous amount of work with any solution? If the solution wrecks the quality of the image, I could suggest a caption, but that's not great either. Any thoughts?
