Verification Codes from other apps that aren’t apple

Has anyone found a solution to getting verification codes that are sent via text message to your iPhone? I’m having trouble receiving verification codes which makes it difficult for me to login into certain apps. How do we fix this problem? Codes keep being sent and still not receiving them even if I sign back up for text messages.
