Linking whatsapp desktop after switching to IOS

Since I switched to IOS I cannot link my Whatsapp to my desktop app. I saw that other people suffers from this but couldn't find the solution. When I try to link it gives me "Please link again by scanning the QR code from you phone. Be sure that your phone and your computer have good internet connections." error. I do have great connection. I tried doing it again and again and again. Unfortunately, it didn't work.
