Why is my App Store refund denied?



On March 21 at 00:05, Apple charged me 6,990 KZT for a subscription to the PDD Test app. I did NOT authorize this charge. I had a one-month subscription in July and January, but I canceled it and haven’t used the app since. The app wasn’t even updated on my phone.

I immediately requested a refund through Apple, but you denied it twice. I also contacted the app developer, and they confirmed that this is Apple’s issue.

This is an unauthorized charge, and I demand a refund. If this isn’t resolved, I will escalate the issue further. Please assist me immediately.


This is unacceptable.

I have already requested a refund twice, and Apple unfairly denied it. Now I can’t even select this charge for review because it says the decision is final.

First check your subscription page to view the expiration and history of the subscription.

View or cancel app subscriptions on iPhone - Apple Support


Then you have 2 options:

  • Email Apple at dpo@apple.com. Any subscription requires double clicking the side button with the amount and expiration date on the screen followed by authorization using FaceID/Passcode, so this information is available to Apple to see when it was started and also when it was cancelled using the link from above.

  • Escalate with your bank to dispute the charge or any consumer protection authority.
