Something just don’t seem right here…

So I ran the “debug data” for my Starlink and it gave me lots of useful information including my device info. Everything seemed normal except the line which read

User Agent-com.starlink.mobile/2025.10.0 (ios/18.3.2) RN/0.76.6 Build/2000010411

I am concerned with these results for obvious reasons. Anyone have anything productive that they might be able to add to this sketchy looking find I had just stumbled upon?

thank you in advance,

It’s very concerning when it’s constantly redirecting me to malicious sites, producing error messages that sever can’t be found, or warnings that site I am trying to reach is not secure and I shouldn’t proceed.

remmeber what I said, these are my devices bug report and not Starlinks. Can’t understand what they have to do with an iPhone user agent ??

Your original posting asked about a benign user agent string involving Starlink, when Starlink networking is involved. No mention of connectivity errors, nor server reachability errors, was included.

Does the iPhone report errors on other networks, or just while connected on this Starlink connection?

Are you connecting via Starlink Wi-Fi, or via the T-mobile Starlink satellite direct-to-cell beta test?
