Why am I getting 'Access Denied' message in Safari?

I have been trying to access my webmail on safari and get repeated messages that I don’t have permission to access my webmail. When I go to the History in Safari I see there is an “at” against the emails/webmail

You may be using the incorrect URL for your webmail provider. You cannot just enter your email address in the address bar. You must first open the webmail login screen for your provider. Some examples of common email provider URLs are:

https://www.icloud.com/mail

https://accounts.google.com

https://outlook.office.com/mail

https://mail.yahoo.com/

etc.
