Why does my Apple Wallet show a balance when first payment is not due yet?

I just purchased a new laptop and am using monthly payments on apple wallet. I set up autopay and first payment is due April 30th. My wallet says card balance is 191.92. Do I need to pay that payment first? What does that card balance mean?

You always need to pay the minimum payment due in order to keep your account in good standing. The Card Balance shows what is due as of the last statement, March 1st and additional regular charges incurred in March.

The billing cycle will end 11:59 PM Eastern Time and your installment purchase will be added Card Balance shows. Your first installment payment is due no later than April 30th and is shown/added to the Minimum Payment Due.
