Black Screen during screenshare on facetime

I facetime my friend and screenshare however it shows up as a black screen to them. Ive tried fixing it in settings by turning shareplay on and off and even facetime itself both of us have tried still dosent work. My friend has a Iphone 7 and I have the 15 pro max both fully up to date. It has worked before but only recently it has stopped. Please can someone help me.
