PowerBook G3 Pismo battery replacement

I totally get using an old G3 Powerbook. They were trés cool. A friend had three Wallstreets that I kept in service with processor and RAM upgrades and general maintenance for years before the browsers could no longer access web sites he needed for ordering inventory for his business.
The last time I bought a him a battery for his Powerbooks was 2005-6 and, even then, it was quite a search. I ended getting one that performed well from Global Batteries. However, the site today with that name shows only automotive and industrial batteries, not laptop batteries. Still it's a search starter.
OWC, a Mac-specific parts supplier, used to have them but they no longer show batteries of any PowerBooks.
The lack of sources may be why you have not received answers to previous posts. You can try eBay but most of the PBook batteries there seem to be used or dead. Buying a used battery is like buying used chewing gum 😳
Understand that a never-used, "new old stock" battery that has been sitting on a shelf for 20 years is unlikely to work at all. Rechargeable batteries decay/deplete whether used or not.
I need help and other people have posted the same question here without help. Retrying in hopes of getting a pointer to someone who can rebuild Pismo batteries.
I've been looking for a couple of years. I have been using a kitted out Pismo with a replacement CD drive, a ZIP drive, and several other items that go into the second battery slot on the pismo.
Why not just buy another Mac? Because I use the Pismo with two Fire-I firewire cameras to make little stereo movied -- none of the newer Macs I've tried work because two firewire connections don't synchronize.
If you're curious, 'oogle search for "Mitzi yawns" to see how this works.
