How do I fix iTunes crashing constantly on Windows 11?

I'm running iTunes on Windows 11. Both are up to date. After the most recent update iTunes has been crashing constantly. It seems like it might be connected to when I disconnect a device, but it's hard to be certain.

The Microsoft Store version acts exactly the same as the version downloaded directly from Apple.

Do not suggest trying the new Music app - it hasn't fixed any of the bugs in iTunes and it has removed the ability to work around some critical ones.

Any ideas? Anyone else seeing this?
