How do I consistently enable 'click and drag' feature on MacBook Pro for a specific game?
Ok, so bear with me. I play mindless games when i'm not busy working or you know, being an adult. One of the games requires me to left click and hold down basically, while still moving around the screen with my avatar. After so long, that is annoying to have to do, so i'm looking for a way to essentially "click and drag" basically, where you would typically tap the trackpad and hold down for a few seconds to trigger the drag part, and then it would keep holding down (even after you've let up) until you click again. I know apple has this feature, and i've turned it on in via settings>accessibility>pointer control>trackpad options>"use trackpad for dragging" with drag lock switched to on as well. & sometimes, it works, but it seems to be just randomly that it'll work. It definitely doesn't do it every time, more often than not, it doesn't do it at all. I know this is a very trivial thing, but any tips or advice on either how to make it work when I need it to work, or any other workaround appreciated!
Also to add: I have tried running a script to make it left click and hold down until I hit a hotkey to turn it off. But I know NOTHING about scripting, coding, etc. I literally just asked ChatGPT for a solution and it advised me on what to do but the script was never right, like it didn't work.
Im working on a 2021 MacBook Pro 16 inch with M1 Pro Chip and running Sequoia Version 15.3.2. I do use only the trackpad however if it means getting a solution I can use a mouse instead.
