Web meetings platforms not functional on my MacBook Air

I'm not able to use web meeting platforms like zoom, teams, and Google chat. The meeting audio doesn't work, or the meeting closes then restarts every 5mins and I can't use the camera without exacerbating the issues. The platforms worked fine on my older Mac. My new Mac is less than a year old.

Please download and run (free) EtreCheck, and when the run completes share the report to the clipboard. Then open a new reply here, and press the additional-text button that looks like a printed page to get a text input box big enough to paste the hardware and software configuration report here, and paste and post that report here.

Web Meeting Nots Going Through:

A. Turn Off All VPN Connections:

Using a VPN? If so, turn them off, as you're being represented as being in a different location, because the IP address is seeps elsewhere than your official location, where you're expected to log in to.

B. Try Safe Mode:

Start up your Mac in Safe Mode and see if it then works. In Safe Mode, login items do not open at login, and certain System Setting are set aside.

C. Try Another User:

For troubleshooting purposes, create a new Administrator user, seeing if you can then get in using it. If note, it is an issue with your current user. If so, then it is an issue with your entire macOS. Trash the user you've just created when you no longer need it.

Thanks for sharing ideas to troubleshoot!

I don't use a VPN and I wasn't able to change to safe mode following the directions in the link provided. The directions didn't match what came up on the screen. Hopefully there is another way to change that setting.

For new administrator creation, do you mean for each web meeting application? Or on the mac? If it is a macOS issue, how do I resolve that?

You ware welcome. Excellent job troubleshooting this!

Web Meeting Not Going Through:

I'm recommending creating a new Administrator for your Mac. It would single-out this user, seeing if it only occurs with your original user.
