iPod Classic 160gb new, never open.

Hello, I have an iPod classic 160 gb, black. It has never been opened. I bought it when I heard it was about to finish it production. I inteded to keep it forever as a memento of the best music storage device ever built, but I need to sell it. I’ve been looking for a right price and a buyer in a lot of internet pages ebay, fb, and many more, but with no luck.

Its my first time here, of someone can give me directions to sell it I will thank you.

There's no definitive answer to your question. The iPod will sell for whatever someone is prepared to pay for it. How you decide that figure is up to you, but you may be wrong. If you price it too high, it will not sell. If you price it too low, you will not get as much as you might hope for.

Even if you were to find a similar one on eBay that has sold recently in an auction, it does not mean that you could sell yours for the same price or even a figure near to that price. Why? Because that's not how auctions work.

iPod classics, even sealed ones, aren't particularly rare. So don't expect to make a killing and retire on it to a Caribbean island. At this point you can get one for under $200 bucks. So think about that for pricing. Setting it to any price higher than that is not going to help you find a buyer.

Think about how much you would want for it and price it as such. If it sells at that price, then great, if it does not, set a new price and try again. That's the way eBay and other sales places work.

With that said, you need to accept you aren't sitting on a treasure.
