Time Machine problems Reinstalled Ventura 13.7.4

I reinstalled Ventura 13.7.4 and now two years of Time Machine data files are missing and an old deleted partition has reappeared with one small folder of files from the former TM partition plus current TM backups none of which can be restored, copied, opened et and can't be searched. I'd be happy to find the "missing" files, copy them to another drive and reformat the HDD. But I don't want to lose those files I know are in there but aren't showing.

Not being able to remove a drive from Time Machines exclusion list I am trying to make TimeMachine make a backup of my external drive and think I have followed all the steps needed to do this, plus reading up on older issues people have had, but I am no step closer to a solution. The TM-drive is a 4 TB Samsung and the drive I want to include is a 2 TB Samsung. It should fit with other words, and it's not even half full either. I have tried finding hidden .mac files that exclude the drive, and things like that. I have tried creating a new admin account but it is the same there. Does the drives filetype matter? I notice that the two drives are different in that regard. What am I doing wrong?!

Time Machine deleted data off external hard drive Apple support was not able to solve my issue: I attempted to add an external hard drive (with files already on it) to back up my computer using time machine. When prompted to add the disk to time machine, I selected yes. Then, time machine began to delete all the existing data off the hard drive. There was NO prompt to accept this. I was also not able to cancel. This is a serious issue. Beware. Don't use time machine, just backup your information as needed.

Time Machine: Reformatting external drive that has TM backups, without losing the backups? Hello, I have a WD external drive (2TB) that has two partitions: APFS case-sensitive (1 TB) for time machine Mac OS Extended Journaled (1 TB) for my personal data use Just bought a LaCie external drive (5 TB) which I want to use solely for personal data. I already transfered personal data from WD to LaCie. On WD, I'd like to undo the partitions and have the whole drive dedicated to Time Machine. I'd simply manually transfer TM backups from WD to LaCie, then reformat the WD drive, then move back the TM backups to WD drive. But will Time Machine like it? Is there a better way? On a side note, I've naively manually deleted the oldest TM backup on WD's drive. I am now thinking I basically screwed the 11 following backups because of symlinks, did I? Thank you for your help! OSX: Ventura 13.2.1
