I’m still receiving msgs from a contact I blocked over a month ago both on my iPhone and tablet. I’ve tried rebooting, unblocking and re-blocking. The contact shows as blocked on the contact info page but I still receive her msgs. Has anyone else experienced this? What to do?

Does the contact list both the phone number and email address and does the message come in with the same Contact name? Messages can be sent from either a phone number or Apple Account email address, so if only one is blocked they can still set Messages to send from the other.
Thank you for ur response. No there isn’t an email address attached to the contact. The messages come in under her current contact name and it is a continuous thread so it they appear to be coming from her current phone number. But I will try blocking her from my email and see if that solves the problem. She is very tech savvy so I’m wondering if she’s found a way to bypass being blocked.
