My Apple Watch has stopped announcing fitness or exercise completions

My Apple Watch has stopped announcing fitness or exercise completions. Such as 'Exercise Ring closed ' or Mile or Exercise completed. Has done so in the past and I've looked into the watch and the watch app on the iPhone but can't locate the problem. Everything seems to be 'on' for watch announcements. Wish there were a simple toggle on the watch but there are SO many functions and connections between functions that sometimes it's really hard to solve what should be a very simple issue. The watch still gives haptic feedback for completions but I can't seem to find how to turn the voice/sounds back on...All software on devices is up to date. Any ideas???

Hey, thanks for the reply. I always forget about the o'l 'restart'. Didn't do that but found YET another toggle in my watches DOZENS of toggles related to sound and cut it 'on' and seems like its back to normal...will know for sure tomorrow. Apple needs somewhere in the software, and not just for the watch or 'Sound', but an area where you can access ALL of the switches/ toggles for a particular FUNCTION! There are just too many and they are spaced ...EVERYWHERE! Need a simplified space for 'on/off' functions for the most used functions. Sort of like the photo library can be a mess, yet let you group by specific type to form 'albums'. !
