How do I fix Logic Pro X not recording vocals and missing waveforms?

my Logic Pro x I used to record stopped recording my vocals and I can no longer hear or see wave pattern. how can I fix this ?

everything is still the same I made no changes to the interface or the application. I make use of a Focusrite 212 scarlet and I use Logic Pro x

I do not have the option to refresh overviews because its not highlighted

Can you please confirm that your Mac’s Mic mode is set to “Standard”.


Also, please check your input and output device. Be sure to make sure everything is connected well. You can also try new cables and be sure to check the gain knob on the interface.


double check that everything is working on other applications. For example, can you get Audio out of Safari and Apple Music? Does the interface work well with other applications?


This should help you isolate if you are having a software or hardware problem.
