How can I change Game Center avatar on Apple devices?

There doesn't appear to be anyway to set or to change a GameCenter avatar on any of my Apple devices.

I go through settings to "Game Center." My name, e-mail address and avatar are visible. My "Nickname" can be changed when I click on it, but nothing seems to open the avatar for modification.

Help?
