Viewing photos in an album the way they look in All Photos

I think this may be what you are looking for:

• go to the album in question
• tap on the circle with the up/down arrows at the bottom
• a menu will pop up (see image)
• 
• tap View Options
• tap Aspect Ratio Grid

I see the difference you describe, but it doesn't bother me particularly. I don't believe there is currently a way to make the Album display look like the All Photos display.

If you want to let Apple know that you would like a way to do that, you can register your needs through their designated portal for such matters:

Don't expect a reply, but Apple says they have personnel assigned to read comments sent there and forward information to decision makers within Apple. How many comments it would take to effect a change (if that is possible in this case) I could not say.
