Will custom watch faces be backed up when unpairing an Apple Watch?

Due to a pending sales tax hike, I just ordered a Series 10 watch. Since my current watch is a Series 5, I checked out the steps to migrate and was told when I unpair my current watch, all the data will be backed up to my iPhone. Does that include the custom watch faces I created?

Not all watch faces are available for all watch Series so the one you use may or may not be there.

I would take a screenshot of your watch face just in case you do have to recreate it.


But yes your current watch face should be included in the backup.
