Unable to setup Face ID and Passcode when adding debit card to Wallet

I’m trying to set up a debit card on an iPhone 11. I go to Wallet, add card and get sent to settings. Once there, it says to set up face ID & passcode.

When I click on the Set up, nothing happens.

I have a parental control app on the phone, would that interfere with the process?

Does the iPhone have a passcode to unlock it?


You can try setting up Face ID and passcode separately, and then try to set up Wallet.


There should be a separate tab in settings called "Face ID & Passcode". This may also help: Set up Face ID on iPhone - Apple Support. Hope this helps!

Have you followed the steps in the Apple Support article I linked below? Have you called Apple Support and confirmed the age of the child on his Apple Account (formerly Apple ID)?
