iOS 18 Cellular Issue Detected

I'm not sure why my previous question was deleted, but I'll repost:

I updated my iPhone 12 to iOS 18.3.2 and now my phone will not connect to service. After restarting the phone I receive a notification from System Settings "Cellular Network Issue" and it is stuck searching for network bars with "No Service" showing. After running diagnostics with Apple Support the technical advisor told me the "software update exposed a hardware issue". I can't toggle Cellular Data or access any Cellular settings in System Settings, and my SIM card works fine in other phones so it seems to be an issue with the phone.

My phone was perfectly functional with the previous iOS and now no longer connects to service. I can't call, text, or use data. How is there not an Apple Service Program for this? Are there seriously not enough people reporting the issue to Apple and just buying a new phone? It seems ridiculous.

That’s almost certainly a network outage at your carrier. You can check up on them here→Down Detector - Crowdsourced Outage Check, but call them and ask if it’s just a local outage.

Yes, I contacted Apple Support and they documented my issue. The advisor told me there weren't enough reported cases for Apple to establish a Service Program. I also contacted my carrier and they reset the network settings, but no change.

What is “enough people”? Did you report the problem to Apple by clicking Support at the top of this page? If no one does, Apple won’t know. But you should also contact your carrier.

Same issue here. Advised I need a new phone. Hardware is the problem. But wasn’t before the upgrade.
