I'm trying to download a driver for an Epson Perfection 2400 Photo scanner from the Epson website. I can't get a secure connection in with Safari or Chrome to get the download. Suggestions?

Hmm, your iMac, running macOS Ventura 13.7, should still be able to access secure websites. Just to be sure, the currently latest version of Ventura is: 13.7.4. If your Mac is not at that level, I suggest that you update it, and then, try again.
What is the error message you get? Is it from Epson or from Safari/Chrome?

BTW, the only driver that seems to be available is the ICA Scanner Driver v5.8.23 for Image Capture (ESICA_5.8.23.dmg). Is that what you want?
Have you tried using the macOS built-in Image Capture app with that scanner, without using any added drivers?
I would not expect to be accessing Epson tools on a server with a name not associated with Epson.
Per the downloads page, I see: https://ftp.epson.com/drivers/ESICA_5.8.23.dmg
The publication date on some related documentation is 2002.

Thx for the reply! I’m running Ventura 13.7.4. The error messages(not a secure connection ) are from Safari and Chrome both.

That server does not seem right. I would expect if you are trying to download this driver from Epson support, it should be something like: ftp.epson.com
