the time on my MacBook is inaccurate

I've tried everything that's been recommended, set the right region, changed the server using terminator, and everything that's been recommended but nothing worked. what should I do?

the date is accurate and the MacBook is m3 and band new, it's been like this since I got it.

it refuses to centre on my location, it doesn't even show that I have a location at all. I tried setting it manually but a lot of websites don't work properly because of that.

Which is also why it can't get your time zone right.

Turn off location services completely and set the time zone manually.

yes, but there is another way where you open terminator and type the server you want in a certain text, enter your password, and it's supposed to change it..? that's what I found on the web but it didn't do anything and the location is incorrect on all the apps as well.

Please download and run (free) EtreCheck, and when the run completes share the report to the clipboard. Then open a new reply here, and press the additional-text button that looks like a printed page to get a text input box big enough to paste the hardware and software configuration report here, and paste and post that report here.

sudo sntp -sS time.apple.com

this is the command I typed in Terminal.

what I tried to do is turn on "set time zone automatically using your current location", I turned it off and on constantly, but nothing changed. I also entered the correct region but still the same.

Yes. That is the report.

Various components are crashing, which implies something is wrong.

Remove the VPN app entirely and restart, as a starting point.

VPNs inherently involve and modify network routing, and thst can cause connectivity and other issues.

PS: The sntp command and the UI controls do the same thing.

If you open maps and tell it to center on your location, where does it think you are?

your location (and time zone) are determined by triangulating the wifi network you're connected to in combination with your pubic IP address.

If you're using the hotspot from an android phone as your primary connection method, it may not be accurate.

Turn OFF location services on your Mac and set the time zone manually.
