I can't edit or delete an event on my calendar in iPad. This event is a week-long. Restarting iPad doesn't help.

Go to your calendar , tap an event then delete :
Thank you SteelCityAnne. That's the normal way, which has always worked before. But suddenly tapping EDIT does nothing. The entry reFUSES to open for editing or deleting. Just sits there.
