Have you also tried updating your iPhone while on another Wi-Fi network?

——-

Make sure that your iPhone is setup to meet the following requirements before you attempt to update the iOS version over a Wi-Fi Network. Open Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Software Update: If there is an update available for your iPhone then it will be listed here. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and update your iPhone.

  • Your iPhone must have a fast Wi-Fi connection or a 5G cellular connection. You cannot update over a cellular hotspot
  • Ensure that you do not have a beta updates activated in Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Software Update
  • The iPhone can not be in Low Power mode
  • The battery state of charge must be above 50%
  • Your iPhone must have at least 20GB or more free storage space
  • Your iPhone cannot be connected through VPN
  • You should leave the phone plugged in until it finishes updating, both to assure that it remains above 50% and to keep Wi-Fi enabled (Wi-Fi turns off when the phone sleeps if not connected to power).

It sounds like you're encountering an issue while trying to update your software. This can happen for several reasons, such as network problems, insufficient storage, or server issues. Here are some steps you can try to resolve it:

1. Check Your Internet Connection: Ensure you're connected to a stable Wi-Fi network. If you're using cellular data, switch to Wi-Fi.

2. Restart Your Device: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix temporary issues.

3. Free Up Storage Space: Make sure you have enough storage available for the update. You can check this in your device's settings.

4. Reset Network Settings: If the issue persists, try resetting your network settings. Be aware that this will remove saved Wi-Fi passwords.

5. Update Using a Computer: If updating directly on your device doesn't work, connect it to a computer and update via iTunes or Finder (for macOS Catalina and later).
