How do I trace or delete an unknown 'HPA' PC on my Mac?

How can I trace and/or delete an unknown "PC" showing up in my network starting with the letters HPA and followed by 5 numbers? I don't own a PC

There is a PC showing up in my network with the name HPA followed with 5 numbers. I don't own a PC and I would like to trace or map out what this is or delete it from my MAC.

This may happen when someone is temporarily within range and your machine picks up their machine.

This may happen when you have guests at your house.

This may happen if someone nearby has gotten on your WiFi, and has network discovery turned on. In fact it is their machine that is more open that is more concerning. Yours most likely is closed unless your Sharing preferences are turned on for something.

can tell you if you downloaded something nefarious. Teamviewer, Gotomeeting, Bomgar, Netconsole, AnyDesk GotoAssist, can all be used by remote help people. If you see any of these in your Applications folder, use

To drag and drop and remove the program.

That will remove all components as long as the program is installed.

I don’t think I have a windows virtual machine or Parallels. Are there programs that would be associated with those things? I’m a basic computer user but have had shady people in my life and am concerned that someone may have installed something to access my computer.
