Why is my iPhone in lost mode when it's not on iCloud?

My phone stopped opening using my face and when I tried to reset Face ID it said that it was in lost mode. I went to iCloud to take it off lost mode but it's not on lost mode.? Can someone tell me what's going on?

Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

1. Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

  • Press and quickly release Volume UP button
  • Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
  • Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

2. Check Face ID Settings: Go to Settings ➡️ Face ID & Passcode and ensure Face ID is enabled. If it's disabled, try re-enabling it.

3. Reset Face ID: In the same menu (above), select Reset Face ID and set it up again.

4. If the above does not help, then contact 👉 Official Apple Support OR you can always get your iPhone examined at the Apple Store 👉 Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options or at an Authorized Service Center for further diagnosis and evaluation.
