How do I gift an App Store movie to a friend?

Apparently the iTunes movies have moved to Apple Store which is fine, but I cannot work out how to gift a movie to a friend. Other than the copy option (and send the link to my friend who then would have to pay which is not what I want) there seems to be no gift option. Can anyone help?
