How to enable AnyConnect extension in MacMini Sequoia 15.3.2

I have a MacMini M4 Pro with an external monitor running Sequoia 15.3.2.

When I restart my computer I get an "attention required" warning indicating I need to allow to Cisco AnyConnect Socket Filter in system extensions. It is not obvious to me how could I do it. Is there a step by step description?

Apparently you are running a VPN of some sort. This extension is part of that VPN. If the VPN is installed because of your employer you should contact their IT department. If you installed this yourself but don't understand how it works I would recommend installing it. Finally with the resale of Sequoia macOS is locked down even tighter than before. I found the troubleshooting information below with a basic internet search. Good luck.

  • Troubleshooting:
    • Socket Exhaustion: Some users have reported issues with socket exhaustion, where the system runs out of available sockets, leading to DNS failures.
    • Conflicts with Other Extensions: If a third-party product also uses a system extension with DNS proxy capabilities, it can cause conflicts with AnyConnect.
    • Removing the Filter: If you encounter issues, you can remove the AnyConnect Socket Filter application by deleting it from the /Applications/Cisco folder and rebooting your computer.
    • Approving the Extension: You may need to approve the AnyConnect system extension and its content filter component in macOS Security & Privacy preferences.

Thanks. I understood all that. The problem is that the rights in Privacy and Security were locked (it was a recent setup from an older computer). I had to restart my Mac, holding the start button and then enable the possibility to instal kernel extensions. All solved now.
