Apps library on iPad

Have you come up with a way to turn off Apps Library on my iPad yet? Just looking for a switch in settings where I can turn it off. I really dislike Apps Library! Looking at the many threads associated with this question, it seems an action should have happened by now. Come on Apple, listen to your customers.

Hello,

App Library cannot be disabled on the current version of iPadOS. You can always move your apps to the Home Screen so you can access them without entering App Library. Learn how here: Move apps and widgets on the iPad Home Screen - Apple Support. (The only step that needs to be changed is that you drag the apps in from App Library to the Home Screen.)

If you want to make apps automatically appear on the Home Screen when downloaded instead of App Library, follow these steps:

  • Go to Settings > Home Screen & App Library
  • Pick "Add to Home Screen"

If you want to leave your feedback for Apple, you can do so here: Feedback - iPad - Apple.

Hope this helps!
