Airdrop photos between 2 iPhones keeping the chronological order?

How do I AirDrop / transfer my photos from one iPhone to an another iPhone whilst maintaining the chronological order of the date each photo was taken ?

I have 8,000 photos to copy to my 2nd iPhone and want to ensure they are integrated in date order!

Yes-- the 8000 pictures will be copied to your personal account at iCloud.com. Also all the pictures there will be copied to your phone. Be sure you have enough room! If your phone or your iCloud storage get full, then things can go weird. If you're concerned, then you should turn on "Optimize Storage" on your phone. Then only smaller files will be transferred to the phone.

will they be uploaded chronologically?

You have no control over the order in which the pictures are transferred, but each picture will retain its "capture date" in its metadata. The order you see them in an album on your phone depends on how you choose to sort the pictures.

if yes, how do I do it step by step ?

(1) Sign in to your Apple Account, (2 )turn on iCloud Photos, (3) turn on Optimize Storage (4) at night, leave the phone plugged in, locked, with good internet, (5) wait a week or so.

Each iphone has its own iCloud account (linked to separate email addresses).

If I change the iCloud account on the 1st iphone (from where I want to move the photos away from), would there be any impact to that data?

if I do manage to sync the iPhone library, am I able to log back into the original iCloud account to have the same iPhone as before?

Whenever you sign your phone into an account, Photos will copy every picture in your phone's Photos Library to the account's iCloud Photos Library at iCloud.com. Then, it will copy every picture at iCloud.com to the newly connected phone and to every other device connected to that account.

iCloud Photos does whatever is necessary to keep every Library connected to it exactly the same. Is that what you want?

I basically want to transfer all 8,000 photos (maintaining chronological order!) from my work phone to my personal phone/icloud account.

if I login into my personal icloud account on my work iphone, would those 8,000 photos be uploaded into my personal iCloud without deleting any of the existing photos in that personal account?

will they be uploaded chronologically?
