Playlist shuffles when shuffle is turned off on Apple Music

When I create a playlist I prefer an order to the songs. However, apple music doesn't not play the songs in the order on the playlist. Shuffle IS NOT turned on - at least the shuffle button is not RED. Also, when I tap the shuffle button it jumps to a random song in the playlist but does not turn RED. How can I get the thing to play in the ORDER of the playlist?
