How do I replace a swollen battery in iPod Touch 4?

My iPod touch 4th generation that I didn’t use for 7 years was just found with the screen popped. What should I do?

Hello,

It is not recommended that you perform a self-repair on a device, especially if the battery has swollen. Swollen batteries can be dangerous, it is important that you contact Apple Support to find out what to do with your device: Get Support.

Hope this helps!
