MacOS Notes App, Cursor jumps back when typing fast. (STILL NOT ADDRESSED)

As the previous topic got 'too old,' and "Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question." I'm starting a new one to see if Apple does something!

Original Post:

As Subject says, the cursor keeps jumping around while typing in the Notes App. This bug has been persistent among many versions and still no fixes for maybe a year. There's also a reddit thread about this with many users with the same experience. When will this be fixed?!?!?!

Here we are in 2025! MacOS Sequoia 15.3.2, and the SAME problem remains!

Couldn't find any workaround. My dumb solution: type outside the cell, copy and paste in the correct cell, either that or type slow, or use a different notes app.

Same problem. The crazy thing is it's happening on my iPhone in Apple Notes too. Both after getting the latest update. 15.3.2 and 18.3.2 (22D82)

For any Apple engineers trying to repro - it happens when I type a word quickly. And it seems to happen specifically in a table. For example, I quickly type the word "button" and it ends up "butont", and my cursor is now *before* the final 't'.
